Daniel Christopher Baughcum Indicted by Grand Jury on 2022 SOR Charge
A Coweta County Grand Jury has returned a True Bill indictment against Daniel Christopher Baughcum for a 2022 charge of Sex Offender – Failure to Register (F).

The Grand Jury aforesaid, in the name and behalf of the Citizens of the State of Georgia, charge and accuse DANIEL CHRISTOPHER BAUGHCUM with the offense of Failure to Register As Sex Offender (O.C.G.A. 42-1-12) in that the said accused, in the State of Georgia and in the County of Coweta, between the 27th day of October, 2022, and the 28th day of December, 2022, the exact date of the offense being unknown to the Grand Jury, being required to register pursuant to the provisions of O.C.G.A 42-1-12(e) by virtue of having previously been convicted of the offense of Statutory Rape on March 13, 2002 in Fayette County, Georgia, said offense being a criminal offense against a victim who is a minor and having been released from prison on August 29, 2005, did fail to comply with the requirements of O.C.G.A 42-1-12(f) by failing to notify the Coweta Sheriff’s Office, of the county with whom he last registered of his change of residence address, within 72 hours prior to the change of his address, in violation of O.C.G.A 42-l-12(n), contrary to the laws of the State of Georgia, the good order, peace and dignity thereof.
Baughcum continues to await indictment on CSE charges.
