Investigation Summary

At an unknown time, the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office received a Cyber Tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. CCSO Investigators started working the case and learned that Ellis had moved out of state. Working with multiple law enforcement agencies they were able to locate Ellis in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. He was arrested in Tennessee and extradited back to Georgia and booked into the Coweta County Jail on August 7th, 2025 on the following charges:

  • Child Sexual Exploitation- Felony (F),
  • Electronically Furnishing Obscene Material To Minors (M)

This is an active investigation and further charges are possible.
