The Grand Jury aforesaid, in the name and behalf of the Citizens of the State of Georgia, charge and accuse JUAN MARTINEZ DELGADO with the offense of Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony (O.C.G.A. 16-4-1) in that the said accused, in the State of Georgia and in the County of Coweta, between the 1st day of January, 2011, and the 31st day of December, 2014, the exact date of the offense being unknown to the Grand Jury, did knowingly and intentionally attempt to commit the crime of Rape, in violation of Code section 16-6-1 of the Official Code of Georgia, in that the said accused did attempt to vaginally penetrate the person of [ Redacted ] with his penis, an act which constitutes a substantial step toward the commission of said crime, contrary to the laws of the State of Georgia, the good order, peace and dignity thereof.

Count 2 – Child Molestation  ( O.C.G.A. § 16-6-4(A) )

The Grand Jury aforesaid, in the name and behalf of the Citizens of the State of Georgia, charge and accuse JUAN MARTINEZ DELGADO with the offense of Child Molestation (O.C.G.A. 16-6-4(a)) in that the said accused, in the State of Georgia and in the County of Coweta, between the 1st day of January, 2011, and the 31st day of December, 2014, the exact date of the offense being unknown to the Grand Jury, did commit an immoral and indecent act to [ Redacted ] a child under the age of 16 years, with the intent to arouse and satisfy the sexual desires of himself by having said child touch the penis of said accused, contrary to the laws of the State of Georgia, the good order, peace and dignity thereof.

The Grand Jury aforesaid, in the name and behalf of the Citizens of the State of Georgia, charge and accuse JUAN MARTINEZ DELGADO with the offense of Child Molestation (O.C.G.A. 16-6-4(a)) in that the said accused, in the State of Georgia and in the County of Coweta, between the 1st day of January, 2011, and the 31st day of December, 2014, the exact date of the offense being unknown to the Grand Jury, did commit an immoral and indecent act to [ Redacted ] a child under the age of 16 years, with the intent to arouse and satisfy the sexual desires of himself by touching the vagina of said child, contrary to the laws of the State of Georgia, the good order, peace and dignity thereof.

Bond Denied

Court records show that on September 9th, 2025, Delgado motioned the court for bond and was heard on this motion during a hearing on September 16th. On September 17th, and order was entered denying the bond request.

In denying the motion for bond, the court cites the following reasons. 1. Delgado poses a significant risk of fleeing and failing to appear and court, and 2. he poses a significant risk of committing felonies pending trial.
